Crema's Take
“Ivy Café is a lush, plant-filled haven in Clayton where you can linger as long as you'd like over inventive tartines and thoughtfully made coffee that flows all afternoon. The menu shifts fluidly across dayparts with creative options like the Evergreen (avocado and watermelon radish), making it equally perfect for a solo work session, a leisurely brunch with friends, or a pre-show coffee run.”

I came here to try the coffee and the tartine before a show so I was glad that they still served coffee past 2PM. I ordered the Evergreen which is with avocado and watermelon radish, it was okay, a little on the pricier side for avocado toast. I enjoyed the coffee though! Service was good, staff was nice and friendly and the dish and drinks came out fairly quickly. I would probably come back and try other dishes next time.
Perfect cafe’ around the corner vibes (but worth a drive too)! Breakfast or brunch is a must here. And be sure you have enough time to enjoy the ambiance, although you can always pop in for a to-go latte. Indoor and outdoor seating available.
Ivy Cafe was the perfect place to do Galentine’s with my girlfriends! They are known for tartines, which is basically an open sandwich pictured here but they have regular dishes too from breakfast platters to pasta. Everyone loved their dishes. My pistachio mocha latte was also superb! Service was great. Will definitely be back!
First time at Ivy Café in Clayton and WOW—what a hidden gem! 😍 This cozy, cute spot blew us away with their massive menu lineup: morning, afternoon, evening options, plus separate coffee, libations, and wine-by-the-glass lists. We had NO idea they serve dinner too! 🍷 I sipped on a gorgeous Pink Dragonfruit Matcha while Scott went for the Lavender Honey Latte—both so dreamy ☕🌸 For food, I devoured the Buckingham Tartine (avocado, feta, pomegranate… perfection), and Scott loved his three-cheese grilled cheese with tomato soup 🥪🧀 The real shocker? They have FIFTEEN different tartine options on the menu!! Count ‘em—15! I’m already plotting my return to try them all. 🙌 Staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. If you’re in the Clayton area, add Ivy Café to your list ASAP—you won’t be disappointed!
I came here with a friend who works in the horticulture field because I knew she would love all the plants (even in the restrooms), but the food blew our minds. I had no idea what a tartine was, but then I couldn't choose if I wanted a savory or sweet one for breakfast. We came in right at 8 on a Saturday when the streets of Clayton were still quiet. We were seated right away and stayed a little over an hour. I'd like to come back and try their afternoon and evening menu, but the breakfast menu also had a lot to offer.
