Crema's Take
“Nestled in San Francisco, this bakery-café wins hearts with genuinely excellent breakfast sandwiches that locals seek out specifically for their rich, perfectly-cooked eggs and quality biscuit foundations. The staff moves with real warmth and efficiency even during morning rushes, thoughtfully warming pastries and packaging everything with care, making it feel less like a quick grab and more like a place that actually cares about your experience. Their rotating selection of inventive baked goods keeps regulars coming back to discover new favorites, whether you're after a sticky bun or a carefully constructed sandwich.”

Sought this place out because of the amazing breakfast sandwich reviews. Really disappointed. The bar is so low in SF for breakfast sandwiches that people rave about this place. I asked for a fried egg, sorry we only do scrambled. Sausage? Negative. Hard roll, English muffin, croissant? No, we only offer a house made biscuit or sour dough. American cheese? Nope. I opted for the "Regular" which is scrambled egg, bacon, cheddar, on a biscuit. When I asked if they have Coke I was met with, "We don't serve Cola here." Sorry I asked. Biscuit was dried out, eggs were over cooked and falling out of the sandwich as all scrambled eggs do, bacon was good, two stars is generous. Staff seemed happy and the food was prompt. May go back for a pastry.
Service was super friendly and very quick for breakfast on a week day. They boxed up my baked goods nicely with a utensil and even offered to warm the sticky bun for me! They had brown paper bags I could put my items in to easily carry away, because this place is takeout only. My only comment on the food is that the sticky bun could really benefit from being topped with the cream cheese frosting from the carrot cake, I would even be willing to buy the frosting separately and put it on myself!
Order: - Special breakfast sandwich no bacon: favorite breakfast sandwich in all SF - Orange passion fruit juice Notes: 3 locations in SF. Every time we go, we try a new baked good. So far our favorites are: oatmeal cranberry cookie, cinnamon roll (insane, must try), fig zucchini bread, and the scones! Very friendly staff as well. On Sundays, they serve donuts.
The special breakfast sandwich is rich and delicious, packed with a healthy serving of scrambled eggs, bacon, and avocado and served on a biscuit bun! I could have done without the aioli sauce so next time I’ll just get the regular breakfast sandwich. They also have baked goods and coffee! I live near BANDIT and they do similar sandwiches (wider variety) so it’s not necessarily worth the journey for me, but if you’re downtown and looking for a filling breakfast sandwich, I confidently recommend DTB Co.
We ordered avocado with greens sandwich and one was with humus and other was plain cheese grilled sandwich. One of the bread was sourdough which was soft initially but I had it after 30 minutes it became little bit of hard. Multigrain was good their staff Milliee and Robert and Meirra are very good with customers. They understand time crunch and our anxiety when cab is waiting. They try their best to do the needful. Didn’t try the coffee but will do next time. Yes there is a next time too
