Freedom Coffee (Ventura Harbor)

Freedom Coffee is awesome. I was so excited to hear they opened a location here in the harbor. I always loved visiting the cart by the pier. They make amazing lattes (my favorite is the California latte) and the staff is so wonderful. Make sure you say hi to Andy, the owner, he’s the best! This is also the perfect location to grab a quick coffee before hopping on the channel Islands ferry.

A great coffee shop by Ventura Harbor. They have really great coffee and it is not too sweet. There are some stools under shade to sit on with a view of the harbor.

They made the perfect dirty chai, quick and delicious. The service was extremely friendly and knowledgeable, offering quality drinks and great travel advice. The views of the harbor are gorgeous.

I was pleasantly surprised to discover that Freedom Cafe has a new location in the Ventura Harbor, adjacent to Island Packers! Love that there is an option for organic coffee and treats in this area. They also open early which will be nice for the local surfing community and folks headed out to enjoy the Channel Islands. My Oh-hi latte was delicious and definitely recommend the vegan chai bowls - I had the mango lassi one - what a treat! There is also a lovely patio with seating overlooking the water and hills. Andy & his team are personable and fun to chat with. Wishing them all the best in this new hot spot!
