Crema's Take

This Winston-Salem bakery has genuinely nailed the assignment with bold, creative pastries and desserts that go beyond the typical French bakery playbook—everything's made fresh in-house and tastes like it. The real magic happens in the calm, genuinely pleasant atmosphere where the small but mighty space feels peaceful no matter how busy the line gets, making it the kind of place where you'll happily linger over coffee and whatever unique treat catches your eye.

One thing about me is I LOVE a great bakery. You can't just be any bakery, there has to be a uniqueness to your style and flavors and BOBBY BOY has definitely understood the assignment babyyyyy. Very long line bit it moved so fast you never would notice so dont let the line cause you to make the biggest mistake of your life. Atmosphere was so welcoming and the display cases were just phenomenal. Just left about 30 minutes ago and on my way to double back on the Keylime raspberry croissants

I’m tempted to “gatekeep” this place (pretty sure everyone knows about it) just cuz the parking lot is small, but it’s freaking delicious. Idk what to tell you. It was so good I got motivated to post this review for no reason.

The pastries and baked goods here are amazing. Everything is made in-house, and you can really tell—everything tasted super fresh and delicious. It’s one of those places where you want to try a little bit of everything. Definitely worth stopping in if you love good baked treats.

Bobby boy’s is worth the trip. It’s pastries and desserts are off high quality and very tasty. I skip the pastries that you might buy at any French bakery and go for the unique desserts that are rich and delicate. It is always busy and often you will find your self outside in a line, don’t turn around and press onward! A fun fact is that instead of water ice cubes they use coffee ice cubes,

what I love most about Bobby Boys is the service. Everyone is always so pleasant and it feels so peaceful and calm in the shop No matter how long the line is. But maybe my favorite thing but Bobby boys is the care that they take when making my tea. I get the Westminster. And so many people here have beautiful coffee drinks. i’m trying to list my go to items, my personal faves are the pastries and the quiche! they make them phenomenal twice bakedchocolate, croissant, and danishes with all the right fruits in them. I’m not interested in eating cream filled eclairs or the super cute french patisserie, but my partner gets them and he loves them. The quiche, freshly made daily, comes with a huge serving of arugula, lightly dressed with lemon and salt and pepper, which is my favorite way to enjoy greens. Have I mentioned that they make their own bread here? It might be the only place you can get a spelt loaf for $8! Because it’s this time of year, November/December and the holidays are upon us, I should addthe creamy tomato soup and a wedge of their pumpkin bread As two “my favorite things”… 😉 Possibly, being new to the area, I really just like how many people are in both of the shops… The one on Reynolda And the one on Poplar roads. It makes me feel a part of the community that I’m not part of (yet!) and especially grateful that there’s a place that I feel like Bobby boys. it’s Christmas time here so I will share the Christmas treats images 😁🎄💓 Keep it going, Bobby Boys, you’re All providing a wonderful product, service and experience here in Winston-Salem. ~ Thank you
