Church Street Cafe

Ahh I used to love this place. I would come here after school to enjoy their milk tea variety. I think I met the owner of this place before, it was an Asian man. I got hugged by him as I was heading back to school from a field trip. I miss coming here, will probably visit again some day :)

Cozy cafe with tasty vegetarian bánh mì (tofu and fried taro) and really good soy mocha that is rich and not too sweet. The owner is very personable, friendly and attentive to the details of your order. The sign says cash only but they also accept venmo and zelle.

I have no clue what the issue with the smell could have been. Not sure 🤔 if just the rain had caused a sharp sour smell in the spot or if it was a person but the reeking odor caused me to walk in and walk right back out.

If you live near this neighborhood, or maybe you are a tourist, this is definitely a good choice for brunch or afternoon tea. I like its classic decoration style, and their food and drinks are relatively healthy, and you don't have to worry about not having a seat to take a short break.

Great Coffee, good and reasonably priced, good. Lovely quiet and relaxed atmosphere. Was helped by a gentleman that was manning the register, food and drinks and was knocking it out. Cash only though but there is an ATM as a heads up.
