Not sure what they consider good food and customer service, but I guess my standards are high. I paid almost $10 for a rock hard cold "turkey & cheddar" croissant that had no turkey or cheddar in it, had been sitting getting stale in the case, and was served cold. Then when I tried to return it I was told they couldn't take it back, and there was no other solution offered. So then I paid another $10 for a breakfast sandwich in hopes of salvaging it, and the only good thing about that was the bread. Just don't go here looking for a good breakfast.

One and done. Was willing to give it a try. People said they were really good cinnamon rolls one of the best they’ve ever had. I could barely taste the cinnamon. They were average at best, but not even that had much better cinnamon rolls in Austin. For $4.91. The cinnamon roll was really small. I put a ruler up next to it so you could see. Really disappointed will go back to my normal bakery as their cinnamon rolls are like to die for.

This was our first visit to try the food. The bakery is located in the back of the store that has amazing atmosphere and a diverse collection of items to purchase. The cinnamon rolls are fantastic!! The service level was not good, not welcoming and a bit detached. When we asked what was on the breakfast sandwich we were told eggs, cheese, sausage or bacon. Surprisingly when it was delivered it had a green soggy spicy aioli that was unpleasant on an overcooked croissant roll. The BLTA was good but the bread was overly oily. Don’t get me wrong, we eat it and we understand it could have just be an off Monday. We’ll probably be back because of cinnamon rolls and want to try the brisket kolache as they were sold out. **as people with allergies will understand, it’s very important to disclose all ingredients when asked when preparing customers food.

This is such a beautiful find. Unique, warm, cozy and inviting. The food menu is not super extensive but we had the breakfast sandwich and it was delicious. I had a pea flower lemonade and my lunch date had a latte. We really had a wonderful time chillin and chatting over lunch. They are unique in a sense that the place entails a bakery, coffee and mocktail bar, a stage for band which wasn’t on the schedule when we were there, they also have a little gift store and some medicinal health shots and elixir. It’s just so cute and a sweet experience.

Teal House Coffee & Bakery is a must-visit spot for anyone who appreciates freshly baked, high-quality pastries. This bakery delivers on both taste and atmosphere, offering a selection of buttery croissants, danishes, and other baked goods made fresh in an open kitchen. Watching the process unfold in front of you adds to the experience, making it clear that everything here is made with care and attention to detail. We ordered the pistachio croissant and blueberry danish, and both were excellent. The croissant was perfectly flaky, with a rich, nutty pistachio filling that wasn’t overly sweet. The blueberry danish had the right balance of fruitiness and creaminess, with a delicate, buttery pastry base. Beyond the pastries, the setting itself is a huge part of what makes this place special. Teal House is located within a shared space that includes Meridian Cafe and a vintage clothing shop. This setup creates a unique synergy, allowing you to grab a croissant from the bakery, order a coffee from Meridian, and choose a cozy spot to sit and enjoy the atmosphere. The space is full of character, with plenty of seating options, vintage decor, and even live music on some days. Service is warm and welcoming, adding to the overall charm. Whether you’re stopping in for a quick bite or planning to spend some time soaking in the ambiance, Teal House Coffee & Bakery is a fantastic choice. Highly recommend grabbing a pastry, pairing it with a great coffee, and making the most of the experience.
