Crema's Take

Tucked into Old Town Albuquerque, this beloved cafe is a labor of love where the owner's passion shines through in every detail, from the meticulously curated local décor to handmade touches like fresh prickly pear sorbet, pinon butterscotch gelato, and daily soup specials. Beyond exceptional coffee, you'll find craveable quesadillas and fresh-baked goods that draw neighbors in by aroma alone, all served with genuine warmth that makes this a natural gathering spot for both quick coffee runs and lingering conversations. Amazing and unique flavors of homemade sorbet and gelato. I had pinon butterscotch gelato and rosemary fall pear sorbet, if memory serves. And the proprietor is also a pleasure to talk to.

We stopped for some lunch ordered the quesadilla and turkey sandwich both were delicious. Strawberry smoothie and homemade lemonade just made our day. Great service and a comfortable place to sit in the shade. Can’t wait to go back and try more stuff on the menu.

Super tasty homemade iced tea. Really friendly store owner and a beautiful, fun shop that the owner decorated meticulously in local-culture style. She picks fresh prickly pears and makes delicious homemade prickly pear ice cream. The reuben sandwich with homemade thousand island dressing is super amazing! Highly recommended!

First off, I was next-door and smelled the aroma of great food! The lady at the counter was awesome and customized my quesadilla order to my liking. The quesadilla was out of this world and very delicious! Highly recommended.

I love soups and they always have a delicious soup of the day. Excellent posole and green chili stew. The baked goods are also fresh and from scratch. Glad this cafe is back open. We needed something like this in Old Town.
