Crema's Take
“This Houston spot masterfully blends café and restaurant under one roof with a welcoming playground that makes it a genuine family destination—order your turmeric latte in the café or settle in for their celebrated breakfast sandwiches next door. Jake and the team bring genuine hospitality to every interaction, whether you're rolling in with a large party or just grabbing coffee, and while they're still settling into their identity after a recent transition, there's a real warmth here that keeps people coming back.”

Jake was great!! He was an amazing server, very attentive to our needs to our larger party needs and incredibly personable. Definitely coming back !
Loved that they have their cafe and restaurant next to each other and no matter which one you choose, your kids are able to play on their playground. Their tumeric latte was delicious!
The café hours really should be posted somewhere obvious in the establishment, that part seems like an easy fix. I wandered in thinking they were open, especially since my family was still out on the patio, but the café manager kindly let me know they were already closed (3 PM just fyi). And let me say, she could not have been sweeter about it. Even with me interrupting their cleaning (I do love to chat, my apologies), she made me feel welcomed and even offered a sample of a peach cobbler muffin they had left over. It was absolutely delicious, apparently the chef is the real deal! I frequent local cafes and service is something that tends to lack for some reason, so this short experience was a breath of fresh air and deserves recognition. However in the middle of our short chit chat, one of the employees cut in with a very blunt “We’re closed for service,” which felt… unnecessary and jarring. When your manager is clearly speaking with someone, maybe let her handle it. Just a thought. Still, the menu looks fantastic, the muffin was a hit, and the coffee smelled heavenly. I’ll definitely be back and with another review about the food! This spot is new and maybe that employee had a bad day. The pastry and sweet manager (I can't recall her name, sorry) is enough for me to give them some support.
RIP the goat of breakfast sandwiches! Loved egghaus. Hope the new place lives up to its name.
We tried it and liked it.
