“Lella Alimentari is a beloved neighborhood gem with an intimate, thoughtfully decorated space that feels like a friend's living room—complete with shared tables and genuinely warm staff who make you feel seen. Beyond solid espresso drinks, they shine with Italian soft drinks and a full breakfast menu, making it the kind of place where you can linger over a leisurely coffee or settle in with your laptop, all while enjoying both cozy indoor booths and charming outdoor seating.”

Such a homely little spot with shared tables and genuinely friendly, attentive staff. 🤍 The space is on the smaller side, but it works beautifully and is thoughtfully decorated with all kinds of charming paraphernalia that add to the cozy vibe. The coffee was spot on ☕️ — smooth and perfectly made. Unfortunately, the cotto didn’t quite hit the mark. It lacked filling, which made it feel dry and a bit bland, leading to a 3 ⭐️ rating overall. We’d still consider returning next time we’re in town to try something different — hoping for a better experience!
Beautiful service by Luca. Great food and got to enjoy something new and have a beautiful Italian soft drink. Communal seating inside with beautiful little booths and lots of outdoor seating in the sunshine.
Peaceful neighborhood spot with a nice cozy flair to it. The staff is friendly, and the food and coffee are decent. They have wifi and a restroom.
Great spot that opens early and provides breakfast. They have good sandwiches as well. There are large tables and wifi so its a good spot to work from. They also have a window on the street side where you can order without getting in. Pretty cool
This post is about sustainability only! 😀 This café is one of my absolute favorite spots in the neighborhood, and is so cozy and inviting. But it surprises me that there are no in-house, sustainable, reusable options for coffee cups and water cups. In one visit, you can see so much plastic waste being created, and then just discarded into the trashcan to head to a landfill or incinerator. I know you have some dishwashing capabilities because you use those reusable metal trays, so I wonder if you might be able to start offering at least some reusable cups at the water station, and mugs for people who meet with friends for coffee or to work from your location? By 2050, the ocean will be filled with more plastic than fish, and I wish that local restaurants in this waterfront borough would help customers not contribute so much to the plastics crisis. Thank you for considering, and thank you for creating such a lovely space. Would be even more lovely without so much trash!
