Joey's Bagels - Fletcher

Just left with my order of Chicken Caesar Wrap it was so gross because they used Hot grilled chicken which made the lettuce wilt and get slimy. I’ve ordered this before and it has never been served with hot grilled chicken and they didn’t cut it in half. So disappointed

I've been going to Joey's for years. The bagels are delicious! I made the mistake of trying the strawberry cream cheese. Revolting. It ruined a great whole wheat bagel - I threw away half of the bagel. Joey's please - get rid of your strawberry cream cheese, please! It looks like pink cake frosting and tastes only vaguely of strawberries. All the other cream cheeses are great.

My bagel sandwich was hot and yummy, although I thought it would be cheesier. My boyfriend ordered a bagel with strawberry cream cheese, and there was so much on there he had to scrape some off. It was very very sweet strawberry cream cheese, almost like icing. The dining area was fine, but the restroom was filthy. Seemed like the floor hadn’t been mopped in weeks.

I had the classic bagel which is a bacon, egg, and cheese and I chose another everything bagel from a vast selection. The bacon was cooked to perfection amd tasted amazing. There was a lot of egg and I chose a pepper jack cheese. They boast that it is NY style and I concur as I just had one similar in Brooklyn last week.

First time here, and it was an overall good experience. We stopped in for lunch and got a Philly Cheese steak and an Italian sub with a begal. Everything was pretty good. I did like the Philly more. The Italian doesn't come with mayonnaise so you have to ask. I would definitely recommend checking out this joint. Potatoe salad was better than the pasta side as well.
