Sightglass Coffee

What an awesome shop. Not only does Sight Glass produce some if my favorite ambiances in their shops but their customer service is so good. The coffee that they roast is impeccable! This location has two beautiful Kees Van der Westen espresso machines that hum along like two twin classic Lamborghinis. This shop is a regular stop for me on my work layovers in SF!

This used to be my #1 coffee spot in the city, but in the past few months the service has become rude and gloomy and the coffee has been super inconsistent. There are days when I’ll look inside to see who the barista is before I order my coffee because I’ve identified who can and can’t use their Spirits correctly, and I would rather go without than have a bad espresso. Some eye contact and just a “hello” goes a long way in making customers feel welcome. If a Hedge opened up nearby they would be doomed. Please please please find some friendlier staff - the service industry isn’t for everyone and you are hemorrhaging customers.

Great coffee shop with amazing pastries and ambience. The pastries are fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care—perfectly paired with excellent coffee. The service is warm, friendly, and efficient, making you feel welcome from the moment you walk in. The ambience is cozy and inviting, ideal for relaxing, catching up with friends, or getting some work done. Definitely a place I’ll keep coming back to.

Matcha was grey, clumpy, and came out of a squirt bottle that was immersion blended. the main sightglass location whisks every order by hand and is extremely high quality, and i’ve had good matcha at this location too, but this was very disappointing to see the last few times I’ve come here. I used to love the matcha, but the total 180° in quality makes it absolutely not worth $7. the first picture is what i got today and the second is an older photo from the other location.

Sightglass is a fantastic spot for both coffee and productivity. The coffee is top-notch—smooth, rich, and expertly brewed. The space is open, stylish, and perfect for working or relaxing. Friendly service. Great vibes, great brews.
