Crema's Take
“Cozy Coffee Restaurant & Bar feels like the kind of place where regulars become friends and first-time visitors linger longer than planned, thanks to genuinely attentive staff who take pride in explaining their homemade offerings. Beyond the excellent traditional coffee, they're equally known for a full breakfast and brunch menu with creative flexibility—like accommodating a veggie omelet turned scramble—plus pastries and light food that justify a slow sit with your coffee and company.”

I Don’t ever leave reviews, but felt compelled because I visited this establishment based on reviews. I think all too often when someone’s had a bad experience they just don’t go back and I think it’s great that some people love this place, but I thought my opinion was worth sharing as I eat out five out of seven days of the week We had high hopes coming in, especially after reading the reviews, but this one missed the mark for me. I ordered the short ribs, and they were burned — not braised, not caramelized — burned. It was obvious just by looking at them. I didn’t send them back because honestly, they shouldn’t have left the kitchen that way. Other restaurants I frequent would never have served that plate. The mashed potatoes and green beans were basic. The salad was just lettuce and shredded cheese — no cucumber, no tomato, no onion. The wings were as plain as plain gets, and the “habanero” sauce tasted like standard barbecue sauce with no heat. The drinks were extremely basic — nothing creative, nothing memorable, just the bare minimum. The server was fine, but couldn’t really guide us with recommendations. No one asked if it was our first time there. The atmosphere is very casual — kind of like a dive bar trying to pass as upscale. The best part of the experience was the chill music. If you’re okay with mediocrity, this might be your spot. It just wasn’t mine.
Had a great time. Came in on a Friday night about 40 minutes before closing. The service was great, and our waiter took the time to explain the menu and the many homemade items they make in-house, such as the Caesar salad with dressing and croutons made in-house. It was the best Caesar salad I've ever had and it's a must-try. I had the short ribs and my husband had a burger. The only reason I didn't give a 5-star (I wish Google did half stars) was that my short ribs were a little dry (which was a little disappointing), I wish the mashed potatoes had more creaminess to them, and I wish my husband got a little bit more fries. We also had cocktails that were good (hope they expand this menu in the future), and the hot honey cheesecake for dessert, which was very good too. The big back in me wish the slice was a little bit bigger because it was unique and yummy. We took it to-go so I didn't get a picture of it. We will be back to try the pork chop dinner and cuban sandwich and of course that Caesar salad!!!
So. That curly haired waitress is very nice, she made me want to come back for more. Kevin however, this second time im here. He super sweet also. He has no pull in the kitchen! All I wanted was a free flapjack lbvs lol 😆 Kevin made sure me and my date(He wanted to add he didnt get enough French fries) had everything we needed. Everythingwas so delicious. I cant wait to come to Trivia night on Thursdays after 6.......plus live music. I OBVI am obsessed with this spot.💚
In town for soccer and found a spot for coffee and brunch. Jennifer our server was super friendly and food was good. I had a vegee omelet that they made into a scramble for me. Hubby had classic eggs, hasbrowns and English muffin. They are starting to serve dinner with live music she told us too! They have a coffee bar with seating and coffee flights.
This was my first time eating at Cozy Cofe Café Restaurant & Bar. I never had the chance to visit the original Cozy Café, but my girlfriend had many times, so it was nice to share this experience with her at the new location. Atmosphere & Space We were both very impressed with the size and look of the restaurant. Even though it was busy, it never felt crowded. The inside is spacious, and the outdoor seating area is a great option for those who enjoy dining outside. If you’re looking for a place that can easily handle a large group, this spot can definitely accommodate it. Service The service was just okay—not bad, but not great either. That said, it’s understandable since the restaurant hasn’t been open very long and it was quite busy during our visit. One area that needs improvement is the initial welcome. Greeting guests warmly is important, and they weren’t really hitting that mark. Still, we were seated quickly, and our order was taken in a reasonable amount of time. Food did take a while to come out, but we don’t mind waiting if it means the food is being freshly cooked. Drinks & Menu The menu has a lot of great options, including multiple beverage selections: a standard drink menu, a coffee menu, and yes—even an adult beverage menu. We started with the Pineapple Mimosa, which was excellent. We also tried one of their coffee flights (they offer several types), and it was absolutely delicious. Food I ordered their multi–award-winning Cuban sandwich with a side of loaded sweet potato tots. The Cuban was very good, though I would have liked to see a bit more meat. The tots, however—ohhh sweet mercy—were creative, different, and absolutely delicious. My girlfriend went with the Jammin’ Bacon Burger and fries. The burger was fantastic—great size, juicy, and full of flavor. The only downside was the small portion of fries. Overall While my girlfriend misses the charm of the old Cozy Coffee however she really likes the new space with all its room and energy. I agree—this new location has so much potential. The owners are hardworking, and you can tell this place is still building up to greatness. With a little refinement on service and portion consistency, Cozy Cofe Café Restaurant & Bar is well on its way to becoming a go-to spot. We will be back to support the NEW Cozy Coffee Restaurant and Bar.
