Crema's Take

Crema Gourmet is a beloved neighborhood spot in Coral Gables where the outdoor seating and friendly service make it feel like your local gathering place, whether you're catching up with family or settling in for a leisurely morning. Their specialty drinks like the Popeye smoothie and carefully crafted lattes are genuinely impressive, and the fresh ingredients shine through in everything from their chicken bowls to their full breakfast menu. It's the kind of place where people come back repeatedly because the coffee is excellent, the portions are generous, and the whole vibe—from the tree-lined street to the attentive servers—makes you want to linger.

My family and I love crema! A convenient location with lots of outdoor seating and everything on the menu is amazing. Even when they’re busy their servers are friendly and fast. The popeye smoothie, iced latte, and croissant sandwiches are my favorites!

The eggs were fine, nothing special. 1 jelly and 1 butter was kinda stingy. The tuna salad was a generous portion but it had no dressing on the salad. I encouraged my fiancé to ask for some because there was a lot of salad that was completely dry. The waitress seemed very surprised and a bit put out that he actually asked for dressing for a salad. She asked "what kind?", balsamic vinaigrette, "white balsamic or regular?" She came back with a small container of dressing and said that the kitchen said "it doesn't come with dressing". Yeah obviously, but it was needed and politely requested. It was more of an issue than it should have been. He said it tasted much better with the dressing. We would go back because he loves a good tuna salad, but next time he'd order it with dressing, hopefully receiving it without an issue or a minor guilt trip.

I ordered a chicken bowl and also asked to add avocado, and everything was fresh and delicious. The ingredients tasted great and the portion was perfect. I would definitely recommend this chicken bowl without hesitation.

I love the Doral location because service, food, coffee is really good but I went to coral gables because I thought it was going to be a good place to be. Love the street that is Locatel because you have so many things around that are good. But there location was a complete disaster, I’m so frustrated and disappointed. First, the service is not good I was paying half cash and half card and the person who was the cashier didn’t even know how to do it, and it was kind of in a rush. Place outside was all nasty and dirty. Coffee didn’t came with a design, plates doesn’t worth the price and croissant was not crunchy not fresh feeling. I was so frustrated, it’s been a while since I visit crema locations but I remember the one in doral downtown was really good. I’m not planning on visiting anyone any time soon.

I have been in south Florida for the last 2 1/2 weeks working, and have had to eat out every evening. This is by far the best coffee / latte and the best dinner I have had since I got down here. Definitely worth stopping in, they have a quaint little interior with seating and a large sidewalk / patio with covered tables outside. The staff here are wonderful, service is awesome and so is the food.
