Morton's Gourmet Market

This amazing gourmet market reminds me of a European deli on a cobble street, filled with tradition, top rated food and the ambiance is par excellence. I was in the area and craving coffee and parties and that exactly what I got. Quality foods made by the best with the finest ingredients. Parking is moderate, I was there late in the afternoon so I had no problems. I got a raspberry mocha latte, a slice of siesta key rum cake, banana bread and blueberry cheesecake to go… Omgggg… heavenly! There is an ethnic aisle, fresh marinated sea food, soups, pizza by the slice. There is something for everyone here.

Where have you been all my life, Morton’s Gourmet Market?! I am officially obsessed and so happy that one of my closest friends from Jersey finally put me on to this local treasure. It’s perfectly tucked away right near Siesta Key and Downtown Sarasota…the ultimate "if you know, you know" spot! This place has it all and handles the checklist like a pro. Wine ✅ Bakery with mouthwatering cakes, cookies, and bagels ✅ Coffee bar✅ Salad bar ✅ Seafood market ✅ Meat market ✅ Fresh prepared meals ✅ Sushi ✅ Cheese and olive bar ✅ Fresh produce ✅ Seriously, if you’re looking for a lunch spot, their hot food bar is a game-changer and the outdoor seating is perfect for soaking up the sun. The prices are so reasonable for this level of quality! I’ve been searching for a market like this forever and I’m so happy the search is finally over. I’ll be shouting it out to all my clients, friends, and family! Now, can we please get you to come back to Lakewood Ranch too? 🥂✨

This was my first time at this Morton’s location. It’s more like a gourmet market with lots of interesting things. In particular, we went in to find dessert to bring to a dinner. This carrot cake was a HUGE hit. It was $38 and worth it. Part of the cake served 5 people and there’s tons left over. It’s very dense and felt like it weighed around 10 pounds. This is a must try if you are a fan of carrot cake. And we went in for round two of the carrot cake. This time we asked them to cut it for us into 12 perfect slices. Genius…wish it was my idea. lol And the mint chocolate chip cookies were very good as well. Look at these Christmas cookies…buy 4 get 1 free, bonus!

Had an amazing experience during my first time at Morton’s Bakery! The service was outstanding; Angel assisted me and was very sweet. I had a hard time selecting which pastries I wanted (too many good options!) and Angel was very patient with me and recommended the crème brûlée which tasted fantastic and was perfectly torched. It truly made my day and I will absolutely be back for the high-quality service and delicious pastries!

Really unique market concept in a great location. They have catering and special orders, a coffee and bakery section, and then tons of more traditional spaces like produce, packaged crackers, candy and chocolate, and then a ton of prepared foods, cheeses and quick pick up type items that would be great for meals.
