Happy Lemon - U Village

Good boba place, however, the pearls are a bit chewy. I’m not sure if it’s only this location, but the tea tastes very good.

I'm not exaggerating when I say this. I am being completely honest. This was the worst smoothie I ever had. The ube green tea literally just tasted like blended ice. Honestly, I would have rather had iced water because of how funky and terribly balanced this drink was. It is wrong to charge 8 dollars for such a disgusting drink that doesn't even taste like UBE. How misleading. We came here to fill our boba craving and left having had one of the worst experiences ever. Also, the staff were rude and had attitude. They frowned at us the entire time and were not helpful and didn't even put boba in our drinks!!

We came to this location looking to fill our boba craving. When we showed up at the door, they had all their chairs up and made it look like the place was closed. When I politely knocked to see if they were opened, instead of greeting us with a smile, they looked like we offended them and they looked at us with unpleasant faces. The ube drinks we got were also so bland and not worth $8. Tasted like blended ice with no flavor. This was my worst boba experience. Definitely do not recommend. They also didn't even add boba to our drinks when we had communicated we were there to get BOBA. Wild.

What I like most about Happy Lemon is how they keep the same high quality standards across their many stores, so you’ll never be disappointed in a drink you’ve had before when you order it and you know exactly what you’re getting. The drinks are made perfectly to your specifications regarding ice, sugar, and toppings. The employees are all well trained in the entire menu and the drinks always come out looking like the pictures on the menu. My favorite drink is the Brown Sugar Fresh Milk w/ Boba because of how good they make it compared to other Boba stores where often the brown sugar is not properly striped into the milk, so it just ends up like a single opaque blob.

Great store overall! Their boba is a little pricey but the stores has great spacious vibes with music going too. The workers are kind and helpful answering questions and helping you customize. Definitely customize your ice because they give you a lot.
