Crema's Take
“Beacon Coffee Roasters captures Bozeman's heart with its stunning, light-filled interior and genuinely versatile space that works equally well for focused work sessions or group collaborations. While their espresso-forward menu and thoughtful pour over options draw the coffee purists, it's the welcoming atmosphere and diverse seating that keeps locals returning—though service can occasionally lag during busy periods.”

Undebateably the best coffee shop in Bozeman - the interior is so gorgeous hello?? The wide open windows let in some gorgeous light in the mornings, and if I ever need a space to get work done I come here. The plants they have in the interior are always so lush and healthy; they very much care about how cozy it is to be there. The staff are always a delight to chat with, the food and drinks are delicious, and the vibes are top notch :)
Stopped in shortly after they opened to get a bfast panini and drip coffee. The only other patrons had their ordered and sat down at a table. Waited for about 20 minutes and had to ask where the food was - they had just put it in the panini press! They said it was probably done and took it out anyway so we left. Turns out, they gave us DECAF drip coffee (both of us had raging headaches all day from the caffeine deprivation) and the paninis were still fully frozen in the center. Crazy!
I’m only giving this place two stars instead of one because it had a nice aesthetic inside. My coffee was unfortunately one of the worst coffees I have had yet in life. I’m not trying to be a coffee snob when I say it was bad. I ordered a regular americano and it had a gross pond water kind of taste to it. I could barely taste coffee in it at all. The barista working that day whipped out 3 drinks in about 1 minute and I could tell that all 3 of our drinks were rushed and could not have been good quality. Very unfortunate because I have heard good things about this place but I can’t see myself ever returning.
Great place for study groups, business collaborations, or bible study sessions. Decent pastry selection. Very good vanilla latte. The parking can be a bit difficult during winter. If walking is an option, I suggest that.
Beacon Coffee Roasters has quickly become one of my favorite hidden gems in Bozeman. The atmosphere is unlike most coffee shops here. They have tons of different seating options, the crowd is a bit more of the college scene and most people are doing homework/work while there. My fiance and I love to go on the weekends and read while we have some coffee and a small bite to eat. Easily one of my favorite coffee places in bozeman. The coffee here in my opinion is some of the best in town.
