Crema's Take
“Tucked into a charming neighborhood spot near the park, this coffee shop radiates genuine warmth through its personable owners who originally built the space from their woodworking shop. They pour serious care into high-quality espresso and drip coffee while their house-made donuts—think crispy churro doughnuts—and fresh vegan Lebanese hand pies keep the pastry case equally compelling. Whether you're grabbing a quick coffee at the window or settling onto one of the small benches outside, the staff treats every visitor like family, making it feel less like a transaction and more like stumbling onto a beloved neighborhood secret.”

Has to be one of the top notch coffee spots in SF. They treat you like family and it’s genuine. High quality drip coffee and tasty treats. Stop by and give them a visit. The Cess had a churro doughnut. I had the Colombian meat pie. My Colombian breakfast was what I was missing from Central America. Black beans and plantains with subtle spices two thumbs up. I took a bite of the donut my kind of donut. Somewhat crunchy on the outside, nice and chewy and warm on the inside and sweet all around, but not too sweet. three thumbs up if I had an extra hand. Even got to talk to some of the regulars that we’re hanging out drinking coffee, just exactly what you want in a local neighborhood coffee place high-quality coffee and high-quality hospitality along with high-quality conversation.
Cute neighborhood, hole in the wall spot. Close to the park and beach—great for a quick snack. Few small benches outside. Friendly staff. Excellent vegan Lebanese hand pie (fresh and spicy) and saffron and turmeric latte.
Stopped by this cafe window on a Saturday with a friend. We were greeted by a very friendly person who answered our questions and took our order. The donuts were delicious with a crisp dough and sweet cardamom frosting. The foghorn was recommended to me and I really enjoyed it. There was an oat milk alternative option.
Walked into finding this place by walking by falling in love with its mural and woodworking. Came back the next day when it was open and met the lovely Miss Erin/co-owner working the coffee window. The menu is enticing, I will be back to try the spicy Cocoa. Went with a simple, iced vanilla latte, which was absolutely delicious and scored a Meyer lemon doughnut, which was immediately devoured. Who is this guy Carl they gave this place a one star that didn’t even try the coffee? Absolute nonsense, not much of a local guide if you ask me. Wish I was more local to this area because it would be my new morning spot to grab yummy treats from a friendly human!
So much to say about this business. Wonderful, personable owners who set up a coffee shop out of their wood working shop during the pandemic. And now they've struck gold with these recent donuts of theirs. Quite possibly the best vegan and gluten-free donut I've had in the city. They have a pleasant crispiness on the outside, moist pound cake texture inside, and flavors that aren't too sugary so you really enjoy all of the components that make up the donut. Be sure to try a coffee or one of their many other drinks. I love that they source their coffee from a Oakland roaster. These folks are all about supporting other local businesses. Love it!
