Soleil Café
1025 S 6th St, Springfield, IL
Crema's Take
“Tucked inside Springfield Clinic, Soleil Café's first-floor location is a bright, newly renovated haven where baristas like Aniya consistently go the extra mile to craft creative specialty drinks—think their inventive "Giddy Up" concoction that keeps regulars coming back to try something new. It's the perfect spot for clinic staff and visitors seeking either a quick espresso pull or a lingering coffee experience, though note that hours can be tight for late lunch runs. The cheerful atmosphere and thoughtful service make it feel less like a hospital café and more like a genuine neighborhood coffee destination.”

working in the clinic there are providers that work through lunch and finish clinic a little later. I have co-workers that tried going to get something for lunch at 1:38pm and the cafe was closed doors locked and lights out. no notice/warning. I don't know who to talk with, but I ordered a sandwich and overheard the gal up front talking on speakerphone with someone about working at Deja Vu and interacting with some male customer(that appeared to be "taste testing" food. Not happy with today's interaction/food.
It is located inside Springfield Clinic. The specialty coffees are located on the first floor Soleil Cafe and the food options are available on the fourth floor Soleil Cafe.
I love the first floor coffee and cafe. Always trying something new. Today Aniya made me something special called giddy up, it was amazing! She is such a cheerful young lady each and every time I visit. I love Amy and Jo also always making new things have free samples. Thank you for what you do.
This place was a little hard to find as it was located inside a building on the 4th floor. I had to navigate my way through to find it, but luckily the building’s staff were helpful and provided me instructions on how to get here. Amazing atmosphere and very yummy coffee. The lady working there was so patient and kind, she had a very welcoming and warm aura and seemed so happy to serve every customer. It felt homey and relaxing to have come coffee and breakfast here. The sandwich was great! It didn’t taste oily or overly salty, it had a fresh and healthy taste. You get to choose your choice of bread, meat, and cheese. Definitely try one of their sandwiches with your coffee.
What an amazing place! Even though this hospital seems to have been built a few years ago, the inside of the Café looks like brand new! Great atmosphere, both inside the Café, as well as out in the halls, where you can eat, while traffic watching over 6th st. If you are ever in the area, or have a friend/relative staying there, then you absolutely must go and check out this awesome Café, located on the fourth (4th) floor.
