Crema's Take

Kaminsky's is a dessert-forward cafe in Columbia where coffee and tea take a backseat to the real stars: house-made cakes, pastries, and creative drinks like boozy milkshakes that feel celebratory rather than ordinary. The warm, attentive service and inviting atmosphere make it the kind of place where lingering with friends over something sweet feels like the whole point, whether you're after a cold brew or their signature creative concoctions paired with a slice of their exquisite brownie and vanilla ice cream.

My friends and I wanted something sweet to eat tonight so we dropped by our favorite Sweet Treat spot Kaminsky's. William our server was so Thoughtful and Warming. He stayed engaged to make sure that we were Happy and Satisfied. Paris, the General Manager went out of his way to make sure that we felt right at home and Welcomed. This by far has been the Best experience here. Of course, we'll be back! 🍨😍👏🏾❤️

The service provided by jade was great. She offered suggested items. The atmosphere was calm yet inviting. This is a place to enjoy the dessert and drink if that's what you like. Kid friendly menu for 12 and younger. The brownie sundae was a great mix between brownie and ice cream. The carrot cake is dense. It was thick yet missing the flavor. The icing was rich and the texture was perfect. Just missing the key ingredient of carrot cake.. the carrot flavor. It's a place that I would try again to see if the ny cheesecake or milkshakes were good.

Beautiful place to have coffee or tea, with many options of cakes and desserts. The vanilla ice cream on the brownie is exquisite, as is the brownie itself. Fast service. They also offer dessert options with liquor. We didn’t try any, but we were told they are very good.

I honestly don't know why people like this place so much. The staff and waitress were wonderful and attentive, but we came for the cakes and those were just a sugary sweet disappointment. Let's start of with what we got, we got 3 cakes and a sundae. First was monster cake with cookie dough, second was pumpkin spice and last was some pink cake that I forgot the name of. All of them had one thing in common, toothachingly sweet. Like so disgusting sweet that even my kids scraped of their frosting. I had the pumpkin spice which was super dense and seemed either overmixed or undercooked or both. The frosting on the outside was american buttercream with some specs of vanilla, but really tasted like from a bucket. I am also super disappointed that we spend so much on cake and it doesn't even come with real whipped cream. It's from a can of Sysco whipped topping.Just plain disgusting. They could buy the cheap can of cream at Aldi or Lidl and it would be better than that stuff. Or even better, get a quick whip whipped cream dispenser to elevate the whole thing. But back to the topic, the icecream was okay but again, it was nothing special and you can probably get a creamier one at the grocery store. It was half melted by the time it got to the table and it wasn't even hot that day. Honestly would not recommend and would not come back. There is so much to be improved.

Excellent dessert cafe. Fantastic cakes and other pastries. Also has a nice selection of boozy and non-boozy drinks. Where else can you enjoy an adult milkshake or wine on tap with a Hawaiian shirt wearing Bacchus? Good service and decor. Worth a trip!
