Hometown Coffee & Juice

I've been to this Hometown location several times within the last year. Each time I've been here between 1-2p, thinking it might not be super busy after the lunch trade. I've been wrong each time, which has not diminished my enjoyment of this perky lunch restaurant. When dining here for lunch, I usually order a sandwich, and in my most recent visit, I chose the tuna sandwich on toasted whole-grain bread (pictured below, right). My lunch companion ordered a turkey club sandwich on a plain bagel (pictured below, left). He finished the whole sandwich, but said he would order something different next time. The tuna sandwich was satisfying, and I really liked the thick, chewy multi-grain bread. The potato chips were crunchy and salty, so no complaints there. One area this restaurant scored extra points was with the large, multi-ply napkins. Readers know this is one of my pet peeves, especially in restaurants that serve soup and dishes with sauces. I love napkins that are large enough to cover my shirt front and thick enough to absorb sprays or spills. There is not much in this bright space (thanks to plenty of windows) in terms of atmosphere. It's noisy when busy, so private conversations are easy to have. The food seems fresh and prepared to order, so if you're looking for a reliable and reasonably priced lunch spot, this one may work for you.

I tried the Honey Cinnamon latte with extra honey and cinnamon and it was out of this world delicious. We also got the brownie and chocolate chip M&M cookie wow was it absolutely spectacular I haven't tried the strawberry pop tart or blue berry muffin yet BUT i did buy them and I went back and bought another cookie and another brownie as we live 90 minutes away. I HIGHLY recommend this place. They do serve regular drip coffee as well.

I love this cute cafe! It is so pretty and it has so many sandwich options! I am a vegetarian but still so many options for me !

Great place overall, delicious food and coffee - I like that you can drink it in ceramic mug. Super nice customer service , place is also very clean - when customers leave they clean the tables right away for the next guest . Place was really busy on Sunday morning - great vibe ! Restroom was also clean. Definitely will be back!

This coffee shop has the best atmosphere - inside AND outside! The inside was very clean and modern. Baked goods (cinnamon) were fresh and delicious as was the hot chocolate! Friendly staff. The outside was my favorite part: Great for people-watching (large corner lot). Heaters were installed ON the awnings, which covered the entire table, and not just on a tall pole on part of the table. The best part was the doggy Biscuit Bar - awesome, varied dog treats and water on an outdoor cart. See photos This coffee shop has thought of everything!!!
