I stopped in for a matcha, saw that they had a horchata matcha latte on the menu and got that with almond milk. So delicious!!! Just the right amount of sweetness and the horchata taste is so good. Super unique drink, I’d get it again. The atmosphere was great also, the man that helped me was so kind and welcoming.
Passed by Dia Del Cafe a billion times, but finally sat down this week for a bit of lunch and work at this cool little Adams Avenue Cafe. Awesomely colorful, Mexican-themed and a chill place to get coffee and a panini. I had the La Tocineta, a stunningly flavorful Bacon, Egg and Cheese panini, and it was superb. Good vibes, great wi-fi and some quality indoor and outdoor seating here. Stop in if you're looking for a sweet neighborhood place to hang out on Adams.
New review- I was selling my art in front of Whiskers & Wine Cat Cafe during the Taste of Adams, I grabbed two drinks from the coffee shop across the street - Dia Del Cafe. I had their coffee several times, I quite like this place. This time, I tried a new one - Mazapan Coffee, it is so good, it really reminds me of their peanut candy, super nice, it has peanut pieces inside. I also tried their signature horchata latte before, very nice as well. My husband had a cold brew, it’s strong, bold and tasty! The staff is very friendly and the shop is cute. Previous review - Nice coffee and concha, I enjoyed the atmosphere here. I feel I was in vacation in Mexico.
Dia Del Cafe is a MUST GO. We stayed at an AirBnB in Normal Heights on our recent Spring Break trip in San Diego and wandered into Dia Del Cafe on a whim the first morning. The horchata latte was so good, we made an extra stop on our way out of the neighborhood for breakfast. The panini was perfect and the danish was a dream. Definitely do not miss this spot 👌
I wanted to visit this place so long but finally I did it on 9/30/23. After lunch with my friend, we decided to walk along the street. Then I saw the cafe I wanted to visit. We enjoyed our drinks at patio. Although the cafe close at 2pm on Saturday, the gentleman let us enjoyed our drinks at patio. Very nice and relaxing time with my friend. I would love to re-visit this place again soon when I am in the area.
