Crema's Take

Lost Colony Tavern's bartenders craft creative cocktails like the Hatteras iced tea that draw crowds to this lively downtown Manteo spot, where the kitchen matches the bar's ambition with standout dishes like tender smoked pork knuckle and a killer apple cider vinegar dressing on their salads. The vibe is casual and welcoming—dog-friendly with both indoor and outdoor seating—though the small dining room gets loud when packed, so come ready for a spirited atmosphere rather than an intimate dinner.

What to expect

Cold brew standout, with creative signature drinks. A slow-sit, outdoor seating spot, good for meetings. Pastries on the menu. Open late. Dog friendly. Family friendly. Parking available.

We had alot of fun at this very popular bar. The bar staff is extremely talented & the wait staff were great too. Loved the Hatteras iced tea. They have a pickled egg flight! Very welcoming place.

Food was above par- the pork knuckle was tender and smokey, delicious. It's a small dining room, so it was loud and hard to have a conversation. The service was attentive at first, then we were forgotten about. Glad we did stop in, and the town is super adorable.
