Crema's Take
“The BOP Coffee welcomes you with genuine warmth the moment you walk in, a quality that shows in both their enthusiastic staff and their willingness to accommodate (like steaming milk in your own thermos). Their espresso-focused menu shines brightest when you linger over a pour over or traditional drink, making it an ideal spot to settle in for a meeting or catch up with family, though some visitors note their matcha could use more punch and intensity.”

I really wanted to love this place and had high hopes. I ordered a 12-oz matcha for $7 along with a $7 bagel. Unfortunately, the matcha was very weak and didn’t taste like ceremonial-grade matcha as described. For the price point, it felt overpriced and not particularly special. I’m sharing this honestly because I was genuinely disappointed, though I appreciate the effort and hope consistency improves.
Visiting BOP has been on the list since they opened in Windsor. We finally made it yesterday (Feb 21, 2026). First impressions as soon as you enter: you’re welcomed enthusiastically by the team. Long space with ample of seating options and great natural light. You’ll find people working, chilling, catching up, etc. The vibe is chill. The artwork on the counter elevation is beautiful. Now moving on to what we ordered: • chai (iced with gulab jamun sweetener) - their chai blend is amazing. I usually prefer not to try chai lattes/ chai because hardly any cafes get the taste of chai right. But the chai at BOP is very close to Indian chai taste. • iced latte with oat milk and gulab jamun sweetener - I usually don’t like how oat milk overpowers the taste of an iced latte but for whatever reason I didn’t have that issue with the iced latte at BOP. It was really nice. • porridge of the day with marmalade and cookie butter - delicious. We’re excited to return.
So happy to have this new coffee shop just down the street from my work! It will be lovely stopping in on lunch breaks and having a nice place to walk to! I really enjoyed my coffee but the kindness of the staff is what made my day! Thank you!
Very warm and welcoming cafe and staff! Hubby and I tried it for the first time today and got drinks to go. They kindly put my chai in my own thermos as well. Hubby loves strong coffee and got the "not quite drugs" coffee. He said it was excellent, and strong as promised. This was the best masala chai I've ever gotten at a cafe. I usually make it at home because I like the traditional method and I like it spicier than the boring, watery, and sickly sweet "lattes" that cafe's typically offer. This is legit and house made! They even have food offerings which is nice, would love some gluten free options such as a muffin or cookie since I have a gluten allergy but we also went late in the day so it's possible that I missed it. I also didn't ask about gluten free bread so if that's an option for sandwiches or toast, that's a bonus! The waffles they offer do look delicious tho! Thanks BOP we'll be back! Happy to have this gem not too far from home.
I always came in here everyday after my college classes, Jack was an amazing person very outgoing and very nice to everyone. Yania was also very kind as well. The coffee there was amazing. The cinnamon roll latte is what I got everytime and it was very good and most importantly consistent. The environment there is also very warm and cozy. Highly recommend!
