Crema's Take

Street Brew Coffee is a locally owned gem in central Scottsdale where the passionate staff—particularly owner Desiree—genuinely know their craft and pour that expertise into consistently excellent espresso drinks and creative seasonal specials like their Japanese tea offerings. This is the kind of intimate neighborhood spot that rewards repeat visits with both reliable quality coffee and a welcoming atmosphere perfect for lingering over breakfast or meeting a friend, though consistency can occasionally slip when they're stretched thin.

Great, locally owned coffee house definitely worth checking out! Desiree and the entire staff are both friendly and knowledgeable. Oh, the coffee is really good too!

I want to like this place but its unremarkable. There is usually 2 employees and not much foot traffic, today there was only 1 with a little more foot traffic but she seemed kind of spastic and was calling wrong drinks after she just made them. I got a hot latte, she made it iced, i took it anyway. I dont think she can handle running service alone. Also the food is lower grade than starbucks.

This was my 6th visit to Brew Street and the coffee ( strawberry/ vanilla latte) and Japanese tea special were both 5 stars. I come back because the coffee has been great every time and the specialty drinks are always a hit. I highly recommend a regular visit to Brew Street to support this high quality local business! I have a request of the owner however. It would be so nice if the baristas could be bit friendlier and a bit more personable. The experience usually feels just very transactional, which is OK because the product is great, but it’s nice to feel kind of more welcome and wanted these days when you walk into a coffee shop. Like going the extra mile to make the experience more than just getting a cup of coffee at the shop. ***** I have to add that since i posted my last review I have visited street brew coffee four more times, and on each visit the barista has been incredibly personable and the experience has made me come back and be a loyal customer. What I said above about the transactional nature appears to be completely gone. Regarding other rare dissatisfied reviews, I feel certain that if anyone ordered a drink from street brew and it wasn’t to their liking, they would merely have to let the barista know and they would make it right.

If I wanted a cup of water with a shot of espresso I would’ve just done it at home. I asked for a caramel frappe & it literally tastes like water. 16 oz drink for $11 when in the menu it has “Frappe $5.75”. It should be free if this is the type of product they serve customers 🤮 save your money go to the Starbucks on the corner instead

Great little coffee shop in central Scottsdale with nice espresso drinks and breakfast food options. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a nice small business coffee shop with good vibes!
