Crema's Take
“Flying Roadrunner Bakery is a beloved neighborhood gem where carefully crafted coffee drinks like their silky ginger lattes meet genuinely exceptional pastries—think cinnamon rolls that people plan their day around and croissants layered with unexpected flavor combinations like turkey, havarti, and jam. The space welcomes everyone from cyclists stopping by on Sunday morning adventures to families lingering over coffee, with an owner who treats each visitor like a friend and the kind of outdoor seating that makes you want to linger in the Albuquerque sun.”

I tried the ginger latte and it was the smoothest most delicious latte I've ever had. My husband enjoyed his coffee, which is rare, and he had a chocolate croissant muffin pastry which was delicious! Great hangout space, outlets, and you can enter from the street or the courtyard. Highly recommend, and the barrista/cashier were lovely and prompt.
Might be the one of the best cinnamon rolls that i have had. Very good. Was able to get the next to last one before their closing time. I picked it to take home.
The Turkey Havarti Croissant was one of the best sandwiches I have ever have. The ingredients, the warm (cheese)/cold (jam) and the seasoning all paired so well together. No notes, perfection. Not to mention the other croissants and coffee was fantastic as well. Service was amazing. 11/10 place.
My Wife and I ride our bicycles, everywhere, to try new places for special flavors. We stopped in at The Flying Roadrunner, on a Sunday morning, and WOW ! we're we glad. I have to give them the award for Best Croissant in the State of New Mexico. We have tried places all over the State, but The Flying Roadrunner is the BEST. Even better than the French bakery on the harbor in South Carolina ( which has been unrivaled for the past 8 years until now.) Now we don't have to travel to South Carolina. Also, Le Bakery, in Albuquerque, is absolutely superbe.
Stopped in while exploring Old Town and was very impressed. The owner was so friendly and helpful. The coffee was delicious and the croissant a were some of the best I have ever tried. Highly recommend trying the turkey + havarti croissant. The preserves on it just make unique and delicious.
