Crema's Take

Sutter Cafe's garlic shrimp sandwich has earned a devoted following who keep coming back for the creative, flavor-forward sandwiches that feel a step above typical cafe fare. Hidden inside a downtown building lobby, this spot punches way above its unassuming location with consistently excellent breakfast, fresh-pressed juices, and standout specialty drinks like their chocolate chai latte—making it the kind of place locals actually prefer to the fancier restaurants nearby.

What to expect

Specialty coffee. A quick-grab spot, good for meetings. Full breakfast, pastries, and light food on the menu. Family friendly.

Popped in for breakfast whilst staying in a hotel nearby. Excellent service, food came out fast and fresh. Orange juice was freshly pressed and the coffee was good (except I’m British and don’t normally drink coffee!)
