Crema's Take
“This bustling breakfast destination has mastered the art of high-volume hospitality with a casual, cafeteria-style setup that somehow manages to feel vibrant rather than impersonal—locals rave about the immaculate vibes and the knowledgeable staff at the counter. The French toast and chicken and waffles are standouts that justify the price point for many, though you'll want to arrive early or be prepared for a wait during peak times. It's the kind of place where families, friends, and coffee lovers linger over generous plates and excellent service, even if the kitchen occasionally stumbles with equipment hiccups.”

The restaurant design was kind of like chipotle it was busy when I arrive with my party. I ordered the fried haddock, scrambled eggs and French toast. Their waffle machine was not working. The French toast was not hot or warm. The bread was super soggy. There could have been more toppings to put on the French toast like chocolate or strawberry syrup caramel more powdered sugar Nutella there was different things that could have dressed up the French toast, seeing that they did not have the waffles. The fish could have been fried a little harder. My son ordered the fried chicken. He said it was really salty. It took a long time to order the food and it was not organized too well. It was definitely an experience and I’m still glad I went. If you come with friends or family order everything on one bill if you each order separately and it’s busy all of your orders will come at different times they should organize that better and have one cook and server do orders for sit down orders and someone else work on takeout orders that way everyone can eat their food at the same time.
I cannot recommend this place enough! The food is amazing!!! Service is incredible! My wife and I found this place through Tik Tok and are glad we did. I had the 3 piece French toast with bacon and eggs; also oatmeal with fruit and a coffee. My wife had the bacon, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwich and a waffle. Everything was delicious and we plan to make this our Sunday breakfast spot on a regular basis.
This is an interesting place. It's setup is kind of like a high school cafeteria but the vibes are immaculate and the food was delicious! Everything pictured was about $50 which is a little steep but honestly, I'm willing to pay more for good quality and good quantity and that's what we got here. Nothing missed, it all hit. And supporting what appears to be a black owned business is even better! I should honestly just start only going to black owned businesses because you know the food is going to be good. They actually care and it shows. The only reason why I didn't give the service 5 stars is because it's kind of self serve for a lot of it and our food didn't all come out together so my husband had to go up to the counter several times to get our order. It would be better if everything came out together. They also did kind of burn my waffle but luckily I like things a little crunchier and told her it was fine haha. She did ask to make sure it was ok so I'm not knocking points off the food. I think maybe they just needed an extra hand in the kitchen because it was only 2 people trying to take care of the front and cooking. They were very friendly and welcoming the whole time though. The booth seating was comfortable but I could see the regular chairs might be a little uncomfortable. It was overall a great experience and we will be going back soon!
The service was efficient and pretty fast, the woman at the register was knowledgeable and helpful. The majority of tables were not clean when we came in and there were a lot of dirty dishes everywhere but we could have walked in after a rush, my biggest problem was the french toast, as it was very dry in the middle, it felt like they didn’t soak the bread. My husband really liked the bacon egg and cheese and the serving size was very large which was nice. The bacon and eggs were good.
Very nicely located - right next to Costco. First time we visited there was 40 m wait whence we abandoned. Next time was better just 15m. Order chicken and waffles. Waffle was crisp and was great to soak in the syrup. Chicken was flavored just right. What was nice about the place was the cleanliness…. The ordering delivery seems a bit disorganized at times but I am going again to check out more of the southern flavors.
