Jackson Hole General Store

Crema's Take
“Tucked at the base of the slopes in Teton Village, this cozy general store pulls double duty as a reliable espresso stop where a four-shot Americano hits just right and the deck seating offers the perfect perch to watch the clouds lift off the peaks. The real standout is the genuine warmth of the staff—particularly notable for going the extra mile, whether that's filling water bottles without hesitation or crafting a solid latte between ski runs. It's a tiny operation that nails the balance between quick grab-and-go convenience and a place worth lingering, though the grab-and-go snacks come with resort-town pricing that raises eyebrows.”

We were staying in Teton Village for a ski trip and popped in to get some hot beverages and some merchandise. The latte and hot chocolate were very good! It’s a tiny market at the base of a ski hill for snacks so I’d expect them to be expensive. The staff weren’t overly enthusiastic but they were pleasant and helpful so I’m not sure what some folks are looking for! The only thing we didn’t enjoy was a smoothie. It was oddly bland despite including bananas, strawberries, almond milk. But we’d go back for the hot drinks definitely!
The server at the store was called Anna and she couldn’t be anymore helpful. Anna was polite and friendly. I asked Anna if she would kindly fill up our water bottles and she did this with no hesitation. Anna is a valuable employee and we were made to feel very welcome. Thanks too Anna
Bad experience. I am a retired senior, a professional with a good education. I went into the store this afternoon and ordered a white chocolate cocoa. I charged the price to my card. I went to the pickup counter. I was the only person at the counter at that time. The serving person brought the beverage and muttered a word I did not follow. I have a slight hearing problem . I took the cup and came outside to join my husband, who took a sip and said it tasted like coffee. Just then a woman came out of the store and loudly accused me of having"taken her drink which I had not paid for". Essentially accusing me of theft. I told her I had paid for the drink. She said the server had told her I had taken her drink without paying for it. I went into the store. The server gave me the cocoa. I returned the supposed coffee. No apologies from either the store or the well dressed, but poorly brought up, customer. The store did not care to tell the irate customer that I had paid for the drink and that the error was on their part.
My wife and I needed a snack and found small bags of nuts (1.5 oz.) marked at $3.50 on the shelf. It seemed like an absurd price but we took 3 bags toward the register to wait in line. Two of the bags rang up at $4.99. We paid reluctantly thinking we had erred and afterward went back to tell the cashier they were marked at the lower price. She briefly acknowledged the complaint and went back to her work. We will not visit the General Store again and do not recommend.
Fantastic 4 shot Americano. Great grab and go snacks. Deck seats are perfect for waiting for the cloud cover to burn off.
