We stopped in while we were exploring Minneapolis on our trip from Kansas City. The food was delicious, the staff was super nice, and the cafe was cute and cozy. Definitely recommend stopping in and getting the Crème Brûlée latte and Belle Breakfast.
This is a fabulous place. I have been doing a coffee tour around the Twin Cities and this is so far my favorite stop. The staff are unbelievably kind, the roast of their coffee is light and smooth and the vibe in here is spectacular. If you are looking for your next study spot, somewhere to catch up with an old friend or to take a break alone, I would highly recommend Cafe Astoria!
Came here to grab a coffee and brunch Tuesday morning - the staff were super friendly, and the coffee order I got (dirty matcha) was wonderful, but theres few to little options for those who are vegetarian. I ordered the Veggie Wraps, and they came with a lot of rice stuffed in it, which was not mentioned in the menu description. I was quite dissatisfied with the food. If you're a vegetarian and you do go here, go for the coffee and pastries/sweeter items on the menu, not for the food.
Cute, cozy neighborhood staple in a trendy, busy part of Saint Paul. They have an expansive breakfast menu with lots of sweet and savory options, and their drink menu is impressive as well! I tried the ube matcha iced latte, which was delicious, sweet, and smooth. Additionally (not pictured) I got their seasonal pumpkin smoothie which was sweet, nourishing, and had interesting fresh ingredients (sweetened with fresh dates!) Their lemon ricotta pancakes are huge, served with a generous amount of lemon curd and impeccably fresh blueberries. The texture is great: soft but not underdone, fluffy without being too heavy. We came at a busy time, so while drinks came out quickly, the food was a tad slow. All in all, though, I'd love to come back and try more menu options!
If you love chocolate like I do , get a CAMPFIRE LATTE (espresso, chocolate, caramel, milk, graham crumbs, marshmallow). It was heavenly. One of the best lattes I have had. I didn’t like the sandwich, the bread was hard and it didn’t have good seasoning. That’s the reason for the 4 star rating. Service was very friendly and fast. And I liked the atmosphere and design of the cafe. Great Coffee spot in St Paul.
