Crema's Take
“The Village Geek has carved out a genuinely rare niche as a coffee shop that's actually built for its community—Tuesday night chess tournaments, board game demos, and D&D sessions are woven into the DNA here, making it as much a gathering place for hobbyists as it is a café. The coffee itself is solid and competently made, but you're really coming for the big tables, friendly staff, and the chance to test-drive a new board game before dropping money on it. Fair warning: consistency with staff can be spotty depending on who's behind the counter, but when it clicks, this place feels like the perfect third space for anyone tired of generic coffee chains.”
What to expect
Classic coffee drinks done right. A slow-sit, laptop-friendly spot, good for meetings. Family friendly. Parking available.

One of female staff workers is continually rude and creates an unwelcoming environment
Seriously just an amazing group of employee. Great service, comfortable environment!
Amazing Chess Tournaments on Tuesdays, super fun and great for children to learn to play chess. Along with that for participating in a tournament you get a sticker from villege geek and if you get 10 of those you can get a 15% discount on select products! Come out to play chess…
Good place to go for board games and D&D. Coffee tastes good. You can play some of the games in store to see if you like them before buying. Big tables for playing, too.
