Coffee For The Soul

256 Giralda Ave, Coral Gables, FL

★★★★★4.8(450 Google reviews)

Crema's Take

This cozy Coral Gables spot blends Colombian heritage with specialty coffee craft, drawing crowds with its matcha lattes, espresso drinks, and surprisingly solid gluten-free breakfast options alongside traditional empanadas and waffles. With a 4.8-star rating, it's become a favorite for lingering over a cappuccino in an intimate, welcoming atmosphere, though service can get stretched thin during busy hours. The real magic here is in the details—think protein pancakes paired with perfectly executed matcha, all served in a space that feels more like a friend's kitchen than a café.

I wanted to have a nice breakfast. I initially ordered hot chocolate and a cheese bread roll, but it didn't meet my expectations. The quality of the chocolate, the temperature, and the portion size compared to the price were disappointing, as was the size of the cheese bread roll. I felt that the prices were overpriced.

First time here and Friday time I had a cappuccino with all that what I call excess foam to where it didn't taste like burnt milk with a splash of coffee. 1st it wasn't a half cup of foam it was not even a 1/10 of the cup. I tasted foam then coffee came a second after and it was at a drinkable temperature. I enjoy the space the service and atmosphere and Elmore my service 🐕‍🦺 got so comfortable he feel asleep and I think I here him snore at 1 point. Will definitely be going back.

Cute place, very understaffed -- just one guy working. Got the gluten free yuca waffle but it was actually much more like pancakes. Not sure if the waffle maker was broken or something. Very chewy but maybe that's how they are supposed to be. Fruit on the plate was good, smoothie was fine.

Love it. I ordered protein pancakes, egg whites with bacon, and a matcha. Everything was delicious. The ambient was cozy and super cute. My check was 34 dollars including tip.

In a surprising twist vs other restaurant visits I didn't have time to take photos of our orders as the mix between being hungry and the good empanadas took out my chances. This cozy Colombian coffee shop offers tasty pan de bono, empanadas, and aioli. Might come back
