Best Pumpkin Spiced Latte ever (better than in S*cks!). Student friendly and comfy as well. Great service. Desserts could improve and please do include NY cheesecake.
Great coffee, seasonal favorites! Store lists the daily brews! Small medium and large are the sizes. If you not a coffee person , don’t like too sweet chocolate , then in house hot chocolate beats other places ! Ample to seating available. Friendly staff, great service. Busy place as many Yale students and visitors grab a cup of coffee here . If you love to sample coffee from Various places and collet mugs then Coffee cups, mugs , coffee packs available to buy. Easy to spot on the road, easy access and lots of options. Of course cookies and muffins are delicious. Loved the ambiance and could sit and read a book.
I was looking for freshly roasted coffee beans for my espresso machine. The staff member didn’t know the exact roasting date of the beans but she assured me that their batch is fresh and recently restocked. I got a bag of Ethiopia Idido Natural Grade 1 coffee to test but unfortunately it wasn’t fresh. It must have been roasted at least several weeks ago as it lacks any fragrance. EDIT: a. I wrote this review 10 days after purchase bc I just got the time to do so. I DID try the coffee right after buying it and that's what my review is based on b. Based on my personal experience, the lack of fragrance in the coffee beans right after purchase was more consistent with beans that are roasted 1+ month ago or perhaps stored improperly. So when I'm saying "several weeks" in the OP, I mean >4,5 weeks. The coffee wasn't stale in a repulsive way, but by no means of definition was it fresh either.
A local coffee shop in New Haven CT by Yale University. Our daughter brought us here for coffee. This is an amazing shop. Super friendly staff. Great drinks, atmosphere, and food. If you are in the area definitely make it a stop supporting local business. Highly recommended.
Stopped in here while in the area on business and found it to be a cozy little spot to get some work done. Enjoy the nice espresso that had beautiful crema and a wonderful taste. They brew a few blends daily and have plenty of other coffee options They also have a nice selection of teas, pastries and other items to please most tastes. This location is in the heart of Yale and very convenient to get to. Very close to the Yale art gallery and repertory Theater.
