Crema's Take

I appreciate you sharing this information, but I notice the reviews appear to be from a hair salon (Salt and Mane) rather than from Buenaventura Blending, a coffee shop. The content doesn't contain any details about coffee, drinks, or café atmosphere that I'd need to write an authentic summary for Crema. Could you provide the actual reviews or details from Buenaventura Blending in Ventura? That way I can write something specific and warm that reflects what makes their coffee experience distinctive.

Everett is the best! What a fabulous experience and color treatment from Everett, and with short notice, he still took the time to assist in making me feel relaxed and not rushed. Everett offered suggestions to bring my hair back to life. I received several compliments on my cut and color by friends and family within hours of my new look. I will return to Everett, and keep him as my hair consultant. The salon was also very clean and cozy.

Salt and Mane is a great spot for men’s cuts! I have seen Ashton, the owner a few times and she has always done a great job at listening to what kind of style I want and really making it come to life. The whole salon is a nice experience!

I am so happy that I found Salt and Mane Salon. I love every bit of this experience, the convenience of the location, Ashton, who is sweet and lovely, and very talented, and the variety of services that are reasonably priced. Having an appointment here is always a refreshing, relaxing and satisfactory time.

So happy to have found Destini at Salt + Mane! I went to her yesterday for a color correction and she worked magic. My hair has such a pretty beige, neutral tone now instead of the orange/brassy highlights I went in with. Also very happy she offered an initial consultation to have the time to talk through what I wanted. She walked me through each step of the process yesterday while I was getting my hair done, which I really appreciated—usually I feel like I'm in the dark with what's being put on my hair. She's a brunette specialist, so HIGHLY recommend her if you're a brunette! Especially if you're going lighter like I did.

There’s a few things I have issues with about this salon. I first found out about this salon from another stylist on instagram (Hannah) that I loved her blondes. I reached out for an appointment, to which she wouldn’t see me without a consult and within the time I needed to leave for vacation. Fair enough! I was referred to someone else (Oakley) I first saw Oakley and the first time I got my hair done I asked for full highlights, which I got, but kept getting told her highlights would be fixed with a “root tap” I have been blonde my whole life, and gotten highlights my whole life and NEVER have had a root tap to try to blend the harsh harsh harsh lines left over from where the stylist applied foils. Oakley is a very nice gal, and I don’t say this to bash but only for constructive criticism. Please practice foiling and when you pay these prices, they need to be on the scalp to the root. I don’t want to pay what I pay and walk out of a salon looking like I already have 3 weeks of root growth. My next mistake was reaching out to Hannah after this happened again. I scheduled an appointment a month/2 months in advance, only to have her message me a few weeks prior telling me she could not see me because she overbooked on her end. I get it, life happens, but she essentially told me because the other person booked slightly sooner than me, she would not see me at all. No accomodation, no fixing her mistake on her end, only referring me to other stylists in this salon (one of which she told me and her entire portfolio was brunettes) I have a sister who is an esthetician who does business, and this was poor business on her end. When things like this happen, it is incredibly disingenuous to leave them high and dry and acting “oh well, sorry, figure it out” So I reach out to Oakley figuring I’d give her one last try. I left pretty devastated and in tears. I paid $600 for the service I got, and tipped (as I will always do) but left feeling incredibly shock of what I had received. Again, a root tap, visible root growth as if it had been a month. Blonde that was patchy and sloppy. I love Oakley, she’s a kind and great person, but the overall work that gets done here has to be reevaluated and looked at. She was kind enough to come next morning right before my flight to Greece left to try and fix it, but the fixing needed and entire re foil placed on my root. I will add pictures below and I don’t do this to bash anyone or anything but I am going to move forward and look elsewhere where blondes are more accommodated to, as I suggest the review reader does as well.
