Crema's Take

Mendoza's Coffee is a warm neighborhood spot where the breakfast game is genuinely exceptional—their burritos and chilaquiles arrive generously portioned and perfectly seasoned, paired with house-made specialty drinks like a memorable horchata mocha that feels like a signature creation. The staff has a gift for making first-timers feel at home, guiding you through the menu with genuine helpfulness while you settle into the relaxed outdoor seating. It's the kind of place where a small wait feels natural because everyone's lingering over excellent food and coffee, making it as much about the experience of slowing down as it is about what's on your plate.

What to expect

Specialty coffee, with creative signature drinks. A slow-sit, outdoor seating spot, good for meetings. Full breakfast, pastries, and light food on the menu.

Excellent breakfast burritos, mini pancakes, and coffee (both drip coffee and in-house made specialty coffees). The service is always friendly. Sometimes there's a small wait, but it's worth it. There's also a large dining room in back.

Food was so good! Got the chilaquiles, chorizo breakfast burrito and horchata. Horchata was pretty sweet, but still good. Highly recommend!

MENDOZA'S, a charming coffee shop in Sun Valley, offered delightful outdoor seating along the side. The seasonal Horchata-Pumpkin hot coffee was exceptionally good. The breakfast sandwich was a delicious selection along with the mini pancakes. It is certainly worth trying.
