I dont usually eat at Shipley's. However, this restaurant was the closest to Venice nail salon and I really needed coffee! The coffee was EXCELLENT!! And the food delicious!! I will definitely get visit again!! Happy New Year!!

Stopped into Shipley’s in Kyle around 9:45 am on a Friday and unfortunately the customer service really missed the mark. The woman at the counter was so unfriendly... no greeting, no acknowledgement when we walked in, and the whole interaction felt like we were inconveniencing her just by ordering. When I asked how she was doing she replied "fine" with a gross attitude/look on her face. On a positive note, the holiday decorations are super cute and festive. The taro blended drink was delicious (very sweet), and their donuts and kolaches are always amazing. The food and atmosphere were great, but it really sucks when the experience is overshadowed by a total lack of friendliness or basic customer service. Hoping management can address this, because the quality of the food deserves better service to match.

This is a wonderful place. The service was incredible even though it was so early in the morning. The donuts were delicious and I was able to get a great deal for a full team of employees. I had to do a last minute pickup with coffee, and they didn't seem annoyed or anything. I really appreciated the time they took to make sure my order was perfect, Even though it was last minute, thank you

Got two ham and cheese kolaches and it's a lot of bread. I shuudda taking one ham out and put it in the other one. The food was okay.
