Fantastic, authentic, made from scratch, shaved ice. A true Hawaiian original. If you’re looking for something with bright food coloring and artificial flavors keep walking. A good dessert that you can feel good about eating!

We had an amazing experience at Kula Shave Ice! The Kula Rainbow was incredibly refreshing with perfect fruity flavors, and the shaved ice was so soft and fluffy. We also tried the Vietnamese cold coffee — it was rich, bold, and perfectly sweet. Everything tasted delicious, and it made our day extra special. Highly recommend stopping by if you’re in the area! 🌈☕

I'm always on a quest to find the best shave ice in Hawaii which led me here. My husband and I shared: - The Local - The Kula Rainbow with Condensed Milk The flavors of the Kula Rainbow were my favorite, but I loved the Haupia Cream top on the local. That kind of topping is less common from what I've seen. This is the best shave ice I've had on the Hilo side of the island and I'll definitely be back next time I visit Hawaii.

Best shave ice we've ever had. A little spendy but worth it for the quality of ingredients that they use! Love all their special flavors and hope to try them all before we have to leave the island.

We weren’t too impressed by the shave ice when we were at Maui Island; however we decided to take another chance when our fellow travelers strongly recommended this shop. They were not wrong about the fresh and natural ingredients, no artificial flavors or color but real stuff! We enjoyed very much and totally restored our confidence on shave ice! $9 with one to two flavors, and our choice was guava and ube (sweet potato) cream, yummy!
