More like milk with a tiniest hint of matcha. The flavor was so lacking that I can’t even formulate a specific review. It just tasted like milk. I try not to judge drinks solely by their color but paired with the below mid taste, I think saying poor quality matcha was used wouldn’t be uncalled for.
my go-to coffee shop here in Woodside. I have my regular orders and I enjoy the space even though they’re a little crammed. You’re able to read or be on your laptop which is nice. My only thing is they have so many different baristas all the time. You can tell when someone is new and just starting and the drinks become a bit inconsistent. Still recommend this place especially for people wanting grab some coffee in the area.
No personality with certain staff. Dry as hell. When you ask certain questions with regards to business hours, coffee options, etc, you get attitude. They make you feel like you’re bothering them. Food is decent but overall experience in customer service feedback was extremely poor. Again, not all staff, just certain members. And you’re paying a good price for the coffee. Doesn’t take much to be friendly or nice to the customers. If you don’t like your job, then don’t do it. And if you’re going through something, leave it at home. Manager should have a word to remind them.
Ordered a delicious mushroom and broccoli quiche, and a hot oatmilk latte on a chilly yet sunny Tuesday afternoon. Found that Moa Cafe is the perfect blend of quaint and modern. Customers were both young professionals/students engaged in a workflow or older generations just wanting to sip on something warm and chat. Nice staff. I’ll definitely be back!
I got the strawberry matcha with oat milk. Service is great, I got my drink within 5 minutes of ordering. There is ample seating and lots of natural light. As for the drink: this matcha is a GOOD, subtle and earthy tasting matcha. They are not heavy handed with the sugar or strawberry syrup (I actually would have preferred a little more strong strawberry flavor as I found it was a little too subtle). Great option if you are tired of very milky sugar laden matcha. I’m curious to try other drinks on the menu.
