Crema's Take

Mimi's Cafe trades specialty coffee precision for all-day breakfast comfort and a welcoming, no-rush atmosphere that keeps locals coming back for decades. The kitchen delivers reliable comfort food—think salmon with garlic spinach and standout bread pudding—alongside traditional coffee drinks, making it ideal for lingering over a meal with friends rather than grabbing a quick espresso. Fair warning: quality can be inconsistent, and portions have shrunk with rising prices, so go for the experience and familiar favorites rather than expecting adventurous flavors.

What to expect

Classic coffee drinks done right. A slow-sit spot, good for meetings. Full breakfast and pastries on the menu. Family friendly.

The hostess was friendly. The server was attentive and swift. The food was comforting for all of us. I love being able to order breakfast all day. The restrooms were clean. It was perfect after driving on from the Bay area.
