Scout’s Cafe
32 N Fountain Ave, Yellow Springs, OH
Crema's Take
“Scout's staff treats every visit like catching up with friends, which explains why regulars come multiple times a week despite having other options nearby. The drinks—from their legendary oatmeal cookie iced coffee to a chai latte so spice-forward it'll ruin you for every other café—justify the loyalty, and the fact that this locally-owned chain maintains that quality across three locations makes it feel like an actual community institution rather than a trendy spot.”
What to expect
Strong matcha and tea selection, with creative signature drinks. A slow-sit spot, good for meetings.

love scouts! i come multiple times a week as it’s close to work. its usually tony & macyee when i come in & we always chat for a while. they always treat you with respect & like a friend! many drink options/flavors to choose from & prices aren’t overly expensive like billion…
I had a hot chai latte (with oat milk) and it was one of the best chai latte I ever had. I could feel all the spices! I’m a picky person about chai, and I can say that I was not disappointed with that one. And everybody is really nice over there.
We love scouts and get it every week. They have 3 locations across Springfield area and they are equally well run. The quality is always on point and prices are not bad at all for what you get.
3rd location for this amazing locally-owned chain and maybe its best yet. 10/10 recommend.
