Moxie Bread Co
103 Main St, Longmont, CO
Crema's Take
“Moxie Bread Co has quietly become Longmont's go-to spot for seriously good sourdough and espresso, with a devoted following that's grown remarkably since opening just weeks ago. Their made-to-order sandwiches and pastries sell out fast, and while the windowless seating area is cozy rather than bright, the excellent staff and quality coffee make it worth the visit. This is the kind of neighborhood spot where locals are already protective of their secret, and the fact that they sell fresh sourdough starter says everything about their craft-focused approach.”

The millabrod loaf is our favorite. The breakfast pastries aren't far behind though. Other than the absence of any windows on the seating area (which the Louisville location has), this place is amazing. That's probably a good thing though because otherwise I'd never leave. When you're done wander through cheese importers shop and bring home delicious cheese to go on your bread.
Looks like the secret is out, so I have no problem adding to their ascension now. They've only been open for 6 weeks and today during lunch it was very busy. Just as good as their locations in Lafayette and Lyons. They had already sold out of a lot of stuff by 11:30 a.m. Would recommend to get their early and anything you get is going to be great
Great to see the cafe come back. The staff is excellent. They prep the days sandwich ingredients in the morning and sell out fast. The coffee is excellent. They have sourdough starter available for free. Looking forward to returning again.
Today I went to the Cheese Importers in Longmont and was so excited to see that the rumors of a new café inside were true. I acquired some cookies for my husband and I to share as well as a sandwich. I don't know how I picked a vegan sandwich in a cheese shop, but somehow it was still incredible. They are getting started in this space, so they apologized for being out of things, but it still seemed like there were plenty of options. The seating area had just opened, and it doesn't reflect the typical Moxie character, but it'll get there. Lots of people were enjoying their snacks and lunches as well as their coffees. I will definitely be going back and can't wait to try even more treats!
Yes, they’re open. Yes, they’re fantastic. Yes, you should go now.
