Takagi Coffee | Coolest Japanese Cafe Vibes As we have different opinions on what’s cool in LA, I just need to tell you the vibes from the moment you walk into TAKAGI, you just want to stay forever. The menu is filled with so many Japanese favorites from fluffy soufflé pancakes, layered parfaits, iced coffee jelly, matcha lattes, curry katsu and so much more. You want it all. Loved it so much and can’t wait to go back.

Who can resist twerking pancakes ?! Late brunch on a Saturday about 2ish. Zero wait. Service was excellent. The food and drinks came out pretty quickly & the portions were more than fair. The pancakes are a must! The menu is pretty extensive. There are so many food and drink choices. I will definitely need to come back :)

The atmosphere of the restaurant was very cute and has great music. The service is fast and very polite and will make any customer feel at home whilst ordering and enjoying their meal. Lastly the food was absolutely divine, whether you’re ordering their sweet breakfast or their savory Bento Box options, the food will be outstanding and have great options and portions. For the price we paid we had the most amazing breakfast experience and will be returning very soon.

Takagi Coffee on W. 3rd and Crescent Heights is an interesting place. It's a restaurant for a relaxed meal when you want to appreciate the food and your companions when you're not in a hurry. The pancakes are light and fluffy, better than any other pancakes I've ever eaten. Everything is delicious.

I saw many videos about this café. So I wanted to try it! The waiting list did not work somehow so you had to queue up, things got messy pretty fast but I had a good time overall after being seated 30min later. I'd love to come back to try their Omurice! The fluffy pancakes were flavorful. I expected a better Matcha. I feel like mine was way too HOT and very sweet even if I asked for low sugar, I thought standard shouldn't be sweetened at all, it's weird that it came sweet at all. The Sando was good.
