Crema's Take

Their éclairs and handcrafted chocolates are genuinely exceptional—the kind of pastries that make regulars keep coming back year after year—and the whole space feels like a proper French patisserie transported to downtown Naperville. It's perfect for lingering over coffee and a tart with friends, though the sweetness in some items can occasionally overshadow more delicate flavors. If you're craving an indulgent break that actually delivers on artisanal quality, this is worth the detour.

Cute chocolate and pastry shop. We tried chocolate mousse and rasperry tart. They were both nice but unfortunately sugar overpowered the rasperry taste. It is not just here in Le Chocolate du Bouchard, almost everywhere I eat there is insane amounts of sugar in food.
