Crema's Take
“This vintage diner captures authentic retro charm with made-from-scratch comfort food and a genuinely caring staff led by owner Sherry, who's clearly committed to preserving old-school hospitality. The menu shines with house-breaded specialties like their celebrated cheese curds and fresh burgers, alongside full breakfast offerings and creamy shakes that feel like stepping back in time. It's the kind of place where reasonable prices, genuine warmth, and quality ingredients combine to make both quick coffee stops and leisurely meals feel special.”

Such a cute place, incredible food, and great staff!! Highly recommend - pricing is very reasonable in my opinion. Everything is breaded in-house and made fresh to order. Definitely will be coming back! Help these great folks out and stop in!!
Unbelievable little find while walking around Springfield, IL. Atmosphere was quaint & classic. Server was on top of everything. The chili & cheese curds burger was very tasty, but the fries were amazing! Great job!
We will definitely be back, friendly staff, great food and environment! The cheese curds were amazing! The house burger, delicious! Next time will be onion rings and a Float!
Sherry is a fantastic host who takes pride in her business and is dedicated to keeping that old time atmosphere and service that us old North Enders were used to back in the day. We found out that our kids and grandkids all played and still play volleyball for the Tri City Tornadoes. She was a real joy to talk to! The food was absolutely delicious and just the way I liked it.The service was amazing and all of the staff were very friendly and polite! I will recommend this great little place to everyone I know and anyone looking for a great place to eat! And by the way, you will not go hungry here! Enjoy and let’s help keep this cool diner open Springfield! You won’t regret it! Guy Jones
This is a cute little retro diner. There was a variety of food choices on the menu, serving both breakfast and lunch items. We ordered the slider, cheese curds, burger basket, chocolate milk shake, bottled root beer, root beer float, soda and chili cheese fries. For a family of 4 we spent around $80 for our meal. The waitress was sweet and made sure we enjoyed our experience.
