Crema's Take
“Henny Penny weaves art and coffee into one experience, with rotating crafts and activities that make it as much a creative playground as a cafe—especially beloved by families and anyone seeking a slower pace. Their pastry selection shines with distinctive offerings like potato cheese bacon and gluten-free pumpkin varieties, while the coffee and chai lattes are crafted with care, and the staff consistently earn praise for their thoughtful, welcoming approach.”

Great little spot in Savannah. Has arts and crafts for the kiddos while you enjoy some delicious coffee options. They constantly change the crafts available so it’s never the same. Highly recommend!
We loved the idea and my very creative toddler insisted we visit multiple times a week for the last year of us living in Savannah. I have say it was not the welcoming energy I expected when walking in. Ever. Some of the employees were at least polite, but most of them would barely respond when you say hi, ask how they are, or even when you place your order. However, the kolache‘s are tasty, especially the muffaletta if you get the chance to try it! The vegan donuts are okay.
Henny Penny Art Space & Cafe is an absolute gem! I recently visited and tried their glazed vegan donut, vegan lemon bread, and chai latte with oat milk. The cafe itself has such a warm, inviting vibe, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. It’s the kind of place where you can relax and enjoy good food while soaking in the creative atmosphere. I can’t wait to go back and try more! There are bike racks in front.
Fun place, great staff, and delicious baked goods. The donuts were a bit pricey but that’s expected since it’s vegan. I got the glazed donuts and a vegan brownie. The brownie; one of the BEST I’ve ever had. It had a soft, chewy texture that I loved along with a flavorful chocolate taste. And the donuts; light batter, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. So good! I was hoping there would be more donut flavors, but I’ll have to come back next time to see. Super cute place, I definitely recommend it!
