Crema's Take

This homey Flagstaff diner has earned loyal fans with its generous portions, fresh comfort food, and genuinely warm service that keeps people driving back from Phoenix just to try the chicken fried steak and those legendary cinnamon rolls. While the space leans charmingly vintage with its low ceilings and cozy quarters, the real draw is the chill, friendly vibe and attentive staff who make you feel welcomed whether you're stopping by for breakfast hash browns with eggs or a full brunch spread. Mary's Cafe feels like that neighborhood spot where regulars become friends and the food—paired with great lemonade—never disappoints.

Definitely a diner I'll go to again. Very chill inside. Our server was awesome. Super attentive. And the food was hot and fresh. The portions were big and the price was reasonable. For a lemonade, angry orchard, 2 entrees, a biscuit and dessert was 50ish.

Saw a comment about the Chicken fried steak. Drove from Phoenix to Flagstaff with the kido today to try it. Very friendly place. Food was amazing!! Server was great super sweet kind and beautiful...the kinda women you don't forgot. I don't think she realizes how beautiful she is. Younger female server. Food was amazing definitely worth the drive.

Huge parking! Cafe is pretty small, super tiny restroom and little outdated and dirty. But beautiful location and awesome service! Hash browns with eggs were super delicious! Very low ceiling. Old style good traveler's Cafe with average cofee

I stop in for breakfast going between Colorado and Cave Creek whenever I can, food is typical cafe food but delicious. Cinnamon rolls are huge and delicious.
