Crema's Take

Tucked inside an office building on Rainbow Boulevard, this family-owned spot punches way above its hidden-gem status with genuinely delicious breakfast and pastries that deserve way more attention than they get. The vibe is genuinely welcoming—the owner's son has earned praise for his warmth and attentiveness—making it the kind of place where you'll want to linger over a good latte, whether you're meeting a friend or settling in with your laptop for the afternoon. It's clear this cafe cares about doing the fundamentals right: quality food, genuine hospitality, and a cozy atmosphere that feels like a neighborhood spot even if you have to look twice to find it.

I love this cafe. Family owned and operated. The son, lol, was very sweet and transparent. He apologized for the wait, however they didn’t miss a beat. The food was actually very good. Very nice avocado to toast ratio. The glasses were very beautiful. We sat outside and the sunlight through the glasses was very pretty. Not blinding but added a cute touch to brunch. May God Bless you, and everything to do. 🙏🏽

We stumbled on this place, was the closest we found to us at that time. We saw the pictures people posted on here & thought the food looked good & gave it a try. The food is on the bland side, it lacks spices and flavor. For example, the Chipotle turkey panini I order did NOT have any Chipotle taste. The iced coffee I ordered did NOT taste like coffee, it was too much milk and no coffee taste. The pancakes were good and the fruit that came with it was fresh tho. I wouldn't return to this place again, unfortunately.

The visit to this restaurant was interesting to say the least because I've seen the previous business (Strip View Café) every time I/we traveled on Rainbow Blvd, and have been wanting to try it out, but failed to do so in the past several years. Recently, we received a special gift from a friend and Realtor for some pancakes and coffee at Astra Café and on 9 Jan 2025, we decided to use the free voucher. When I looked up the location of this restaurant, I was a little puzzled because we've passed this area numerous times and I didn't recall seeing this restaurant. However, after digging deeper into it, I realized that Astra Café is the new Strip View Café. So without knowing it, we were given the opportunity to finally try this restaurant by sheer coincidence. When my family and I walked in, I quickly noticed how nice, quiet, and cozy it was in the restaurant. Although we didn't opt to sit outside (it was too cold and windy), I did notice how relaxing that outdoor seating could be while having a great view of the Las Vegas Strip (from a distance). The temperature in the restaurant was a little cold, which made me wonder if they even had their heater on...but we survived without frostbite. The restaurant's décor was nice and with the exception of it being cold inside, it didn't take away from us having a pleasant and "comfortable" experience. The service was great; our main server, George, did a good job and operated at a fast pace...which is always appreciated when you're starving. We ordered the Pumpkin Chai Latte, Coffee, Pancake Combo, side of Waffle Fries, Frittata w/Spinach, Potatoes, Chicken, and Mozzarella (supposed to be Goat Cheese), and another Frittata w/Tomato, Onion, Spinach, and Potatoes (supposed to be Mushrooms). The "supposed to be..." statements were the only hiccups in our order, and although the Frittata was somewhat new to me, I can't say I am a huge fan of that entrée. I am more of an omelette guy, to which I was disappointed that they didn't serve omelettes - but it's always great to try something new. Everything else that was served on our table tasted wonderful. The prices were very reasonable and I highly respect this business for their continued support to the active men and women of the Armed Forces, including its Veterans - thank you for that! Overall, I liked this restaurant, as depicted in my 4-star review. There were a few things that prevented it from being a 5-star experience, but it wasn't a show stopper for me either. Their menu is robust so I am willing to try some of the other items on their lunch menu down the road. For now, I'm not itching to run to the front of the line to try this place again anytime soon, but I am recommending this restaurant to everyone - support local businesses!

We have stumbled upon at this spot looking for a good latte and we were pleasantly surprised. Location is a bit unusual, it’s located in an office building, but it’s a very nice cafe , pretty cozy and welcoming. They have a nice and big covered patio. We had two lattes ( hot and cold) and they were very delicious. We didn’t try any food items, but everything on the menu looked pretty good. So , definitely next time we should try some food items. The service was great, our server was very friendly and nice.

I am very surprised this place is not packed all the time because the food was delicious!! We enjoyed the breakfast and lunch together. The croissant French toast was superb- flaky, crunchy, soft topped with a tangy creamy lemon glaze. The grommet chicken sandwich with a side of dill potatoes was fantastic. We also enjoyed a bowl of the lentil celery soup which was a perfect combination of texture and taste. Highly recommend this place! I will be back for sure
