Boichik Bagels

Best bagels and cream cheese in the city! I've been to their Fillmore Street location several times, but this is my first time at this specific location. The employees were fun and friendly. There isn't a spot to eat inside, but there are many tables to eat at outside.

I tried one of their bagels of the day with avocado, tomato, and salmon. The bagel was absolutely massive — so full that it was actually a bit difficult to eat. At first I even thought there might be two bagels stacked together because it was such a huge portion. The toppings were ok, with plenty of avocado and tomato. The salmon portion, however, was on the smaller side; I would have preferred a less avocado and tomato and a bit more salmon for better balance (and price). Still, the bagel tasted good overall, and the price was fairly reasonable. A solid spot if you’re looking for a very filling bagel.

After eating their specialty miso salmon bagel, I understood the magic Remi felt when trying cheese with strawberries in Ratatouille - bright yellow and red flavor swirls dancing in his head. It’s magical - and transforms when you add the glaze. Pricing is a bit steep for what you get, but it’s on the right side of that line. Jersey girl certified solid bagel 🥯 Service was quick and curt; atmosphere is grab-and-go oriented.

Boichik in Downtown San Francisco. Opened early, and delicious. We had an early morning so this won the vote. No wait, many bagels to chose from. So soft and chewy. They gave us everything we wanted. Clean and quick and easy. Thank you for the fresh bagel sammie!! Egg salad, Tuna salad, cucumbers on a toasted sesame bagel. Outstanding!!

Came in right before closing on a Sunday, the music was blasting from a loud speaker and the young guy that helped me was just ok. I lived in NY for 12 years so had plenty of NY bagels. I appreciate the two choices of vegan cream cheeses plain & chives. I ordered the everything bagel with chives vegan cream cheese. I found the bagel very dense, too dense for my linking. My friend ordered a bagel w cream cheese and added lox which he was charged $9 extra for so his bagel was over $14 which is way too much. Very limited seating outside. They also sell cute magnets, cards and other merchandise. CC accepted.
