Crema's Take
“This Charlestown gem strikes that rare balance between a serious specialty coffee destination and a full-service brunch spot where you'll actually want to linger for hours. Beyond their skillfully crafted seasonal and traditional drinks, Tatte earns its stellar reputation through inventive, globally-inspired dishes like their standout lamb hash with tzatziki and perfectly-poached eggs, short-rib grilled cheese, and shakshuka that elevate it well beyond typical cafe fare. The warm, attentive service and adorable atmosphere make it the kind of place where both coffee enthusiasts and families feel equally welcome, whether you're a local or visiting from across the country.”

I’m visiting Boston from Arizona and could not have picked a better coffee shop. Coffee is great, customer service is even better! I could not be more happy with the taste and quality of the food and beverages. The shop is also so beautiful. I didn’t get to try their pastry’s but they look delicious and tons of people were ordering them so will have to try next. Thank you to the manager for being so kind and friendly! Highly recommend!
I got a seasonal drink and my boyfriend got a London fog. He got the breakfast plate and I got the muesli cup! Super delicious food and adorable spot. Very lovely atmosphere
Skip the donuts (they're tough) but the lamb hash is incredibly flavorful. It's got tzatziki-like sauce underneath and a green dressing on top of the perfectly-poched egg, plus a side of fresh tomatoes (not pictured)
Huge variety of delicious options including salads, sandwiches, quiche, shakshuka, pastries, yogurt parfait, etc. loved my peach, strawberry chicken salad with goat cheese and everything else we ordered was amazing!! Tons of gluten free options too.
This was such a great stop! I couldn’t decide what to get, it all looked so delicious. I ended up getting the Short-rib grilled cheese and was SO happy I did. There was more meat than I anticipated (in the best way) and it was juicy!! The bread was perfectly toasted to make it sturdy but not rip up the roof of your mouth. My husband got the croissant breakfast sandwich and that was perfectly cooked too.
