Rick's 11a Cafe
11 Elkins St, Boston, MA
Crema's Take
“Rick's 11a Cafe is a Boston institution where the owner works the line right in front of you, crafting everything from meticulously seasoned breakfast burritos to his signature "Rick-Fil-a" sandwiches with genuine care and creativity. The menu spans deep—French toast, kielbasa wraps, steak and cheese with mushrooms—but it's Rick's hands-on approach and the casual, welcoming vibe that keeps people returning, whether they're locals grabbing breakfast or folks willing to bike 25 minutes across town. It's the kind of neighborhood spot that proves a great cafe doesn't need pretension, just real skill, fair prices, and a owner who genuinely loves what he does.”

Was craving a breakfast burrito and google search provided. From all the reviews, I knew this was my place, before heading back to Vermont. Bacon egg Cheese seasoned home fries wrap sure did not dissapoint. Such Yumminess to start the day. Thank you Rick! You are a gem!
Worth the 25 min bike ride for the kielbasa wrap. Deep menu and proper vibes for the situation.
Stopped by Rick's 11a Café yesterday and grabbed a turkey club it was HUGE and definitely a bang for the buck, Came back today for a steak and cheese with mushrooms and wow... amazing spectacular. Super tasty, cooked just right, and honestly one of the best I've had in a while. This spot is such a hidden gem. The guy working there is running the whole place by himself, but he's quick with the orders and really friendly. He definitely takes pride on what he does. Definitely coming back again!
Went here after a pilates class nearby. WOW. Got the “Rick-Fil-a” (he said he came up with the name himself) and it was delicious. Nothing better than a local cafe. Will be back because the breakfast looks delicious too.
This place is lights out 😂😂😂 Rick makes everything himself right in front of u, and it's all SO good!!! Free parking, easy to get to, and u can get everything from French toast to breakfast burritos with Kielbasa! He's got a deep menu with anything u want, and I'm shocked I haven't come here sooner. This place is a hole-in-the-wall, so there's not tables for 4, only some bar stools, but man is it worth it! Couldn't recommend this place more.
