Crema's Take

This intimate South Amherst spot nails the European café vibe with an open kitchen, thoughtfully curated books and newspapers scattered about, and jazz playing softly in the background—it's the kind of place where you'll linger over a cappuccino for hours. While their traditional espresso drinks are reliably excellent, the real draw is the homemade pastries and inventive breakfast sandwiches (like the English muffin kielbasa) that keep regulars coming back weekly. The owner's genuine passion for the community and local history shines through in every interaction, making it feel less like a coffee shop and more like a living room you actually want to spend time in.

Really cute small cafe with open kitchen and great tasting english muffin kielbasa sandwiches (they were on special). They got newspapers and books and good jazz playing, very homely :) Ordered 3 sandwiches between the 2 of us, 7$ each. Cocoa was good too, although I probably shouldn't have ordered it due to lactose sensitivity. Oh well 😅 - "Best breakfast I've had in a very long time" (My mom)

I take my daughter for a breakfast date here at least once a week and we are always so impressed with the baked goods! The staff are very lovely and it’s such a cozy atmosphere!

Exactly what South Amherst needed! Love the collection of cool books available for browsing and the decor is really fun! The gentleman who runs the place is full of interesting facts about the area and there's some really lovely art hanging on the wall. Coffee was good, pastries were tasty!

I adore this place! I'm so happy it's finally opened. My cappuccino was perfect, as was the fogbuster coffee, and the baked goods and sandwiches looked delicious. The atmosphere is super relaxing, cozy, and charming. I would highly suggest checking it out.
